Jerry Chasen's Blog

My blog is an expression of my life’s purpose: “Empowering Conscious Vision.”  That, purposefully, covers a lot of territory.  Things that are close to home—estate planning, particularly for non-traditional families, the importance of values in planning, making sure that “retirement” is preceded (or at least accompanied by) careful assessment and planning , these all have a place here.  So too, however, do things farther afield—same sex marriage, and its impact on planning, for example, or other political issues that affect our likely evolution.  As evidenced a great deal in my poetry, I consider the political to be very much related to the individual, and every bit a function of vision.

The blog has two parts.  The first is my own creative output—my poems, photographs, and “poemography.”  Lots of the poetry and poemography also have an audio component—poetry is often best communicated orally.  Given the content of this section, comments aren’t invited—if you want to communicate with me about any of the work, please just send me an e-mail.  jerry@jerrychasen.com
