Shortly before writing this, the law firm I headed: a) was robbed; b) moved; c) dissolved; and d) was robbed again. I was also in a new relationship, way more suddenly than I’d planned after the 7 year relationship I had been in ended the previous July. Whew!
I’ve long believed that we create ourselves by our responses–to situations, to challenges, and of course, to some basic questions. Using journalism’s “4 w’s and and h”, I tried to explore some interesting, defining questions.
I liked “Blessing” so much, I basically tried to recreate it. This “copy”, as might be expected, isn’t as effective, In think. But I thought it was cool that it could be read horizontally or vertically, with the rhyme with each set of 4 (horizontally) or within each set of 4 (vertically). My read is of it vertically.
Reflections on both the state of Israel, and my state of mind. The photograph is of a wall in Israel after the 2007 conflict with Lebanon that was spray painted with the Star of David, and the Hebrew “Am Yisroel Chai”–the People of Israel Live.
As this says, “who writes thes things is another who than me, if I let the light through.” That’s where this conversation about change and truth came from.
